This month's featured Shutterfly Gallery books continued. Enjoy!
AngelaFrances by KittyChen
Kitty's second book uses a similar neutral palette, but the patterns are more sophisticated to reflect the fact that the subjects are adults instead of children. Again, the focus is on the photos, which is particularly fitting for a wedding album.
Kitty made these layouts into templates available for purchase from oscraps.
Ari Family by KittyChen
This book combines elements of Kitty's first two books. It uses muted colors rather than an entirely neutral palette, but still keeps the embellishments to a minimum. Perfect for photos of a family!
The templates created from these layouts are available for sale at oscraps.
Letters to My Husband by DanOB's Wife
Dan's wife hijacked his Shutterfly account to create this photo book for him! It uses lots of whitespace to draw the eye to the single photo and accompanying journaling that make up most of the two-page layouts. It can be hard to create a photo book for a man. Try following this example by using masculine colors, one or two photos on one page and thoughts about your man on the other. No need for lots of embellishments: the thoughts speak for themselves.
The Everyday Us by GabbyGirl
Like many digital scrapbookers, you may wonder what to do with all the single-page layouts that build up during the year. Here, GabbyGirl has collected a year's worth of everyday layouts into a single photo book. Don't feel that every layout in a photo book has to use the same colors or elements. As GabbyGirl shows, putting a different layout on every page emphasizes the fact that each page tells a single story instead of being part of a larger tale.
2010 Summer Vacation by DGornish
Denise's book uses lots of whitespace and minimal, repeating embellishments to draw your eyes to the stunning photos. She uses clear, easy-to-read fonts for the headings and journaling. Her clever use of circular photos on the covers gives a quick overview of the book's subject matter.
Family 2010 by TamiO11

Tami used a set of templates by TaylorMade Designs for this photo book . But while most people use these templates for wedding or engagement books, Tami showed that they're just as well-suited to family photos.
If you've always wanted to try the grungy, paint-splattered look in your layouts, try starting with templates like these. As your eye develops, you can modify the templates and make them your own.
Highlights of 2009 by AngelaM22
Angela also used templates, this time by Anna Aspnes as a way to jump-start the creation of her photo book. If photo-a-day books seem too time-consuming, consider following Angela's example and creating a two-page layout for each month. it's a great way to give a quick overview of the year's highlights.
Sonoma Wine Country Weekend 2010 by Tracy_B
Tracy's book uses the same square format throughout, but mixes up the backgrounds and embellishments. This gives the photo book a unifying design and saves a lot of time when you're creating your layouts.
Disneyworld June 2009 by LindaE278

Linda's Disneyworld book uses many different layout styles, but the bright colors and disney themes tie the book together. She's managed to squeeze a large number of photos on many of the pages and still left room for journaling.
2010 Memories (first half) by BrittanyLane

Brittany's book is a collection of single-page layouts covering events from the first half of the year. The colors and designs are all different, but the style is very hip and modern throughout. She makes great use of whitespace to draw your eye to the photos.
Reunion 2010 by KateTeague

Kate is also a member of Shutterfly's Scrapbooking Advisory Team. In this book, she uses the same color palette and basic embellishments on mostly two-page layouts. Her layouts have a formal enough structure to use for any event, but the hand-drawn frames add a touch of humor.
Kate has made the designs from this book available as templates for purchase at Design House Digital. And if you use the code REUNION until 12/31, you'll get 25% off!
Graduation Advice by SueM163

Sue made her photo book as a high school graduation gift for her son. Each page contains a quote or piece of advice accompanied by a photo of her son. Every layout is different and filled with things that are important to Sue's son. This type of photo book would also make the perfect gift for someone graduation from college or starting married life.
Life's Little Moments by Kim K

Kim's book has a very modern, romantic style. She often puts her photos off to the side of the page, which makes the layout seem less "grid-like" and more interesting. Kim also makes great use of blending modes on her background photos, making them seem very haunting. Check out page 3 for an example.
Christmas Memories by Kollargole

Kollargole's book uses Christmas-themed backgrounds in red, green and blue to highlight the season. She devotes one page to each of the 24 days leading up to Christmas, and explains her family's traditions, decorations and holiday food. Instead of trying to scrapbook all the photos from your Christmas celebration, try using Kollargole's technique and pick on
