Since our Blog is about celebrating “Everyday Life”, Traci Reed, from Traci Reed Designs is here to share a bit on documenting her everyday life events.

  "Right now, we’re living in the expectation of a new little boy to be joining our family in January and it seems like everything that we do is wrapped up in preparing for that little guy. As part of our countdown, we take a picture every week of the progress of my belly growth and I scrap them in 3 week at a time increments. We love celebrating the every day around here, why shouldn’t we celebrate the every day life of our family member we’ve yet to meet?"

Shutterfly Share Sites: Connecting and Communicating

The sites are perfect for a sports team, a classroom, a group of friends, or family to keep in touch on a minute to minute, day to day, week to week or even month to month basis. However often you need to communicate with people, the option is free and available.

Traci Reed Shares: Her Creative Style

Traci Reed , of Traci Reed Designs shares some creative inspiration with us.

What is your creative style and who or what inspires you most?

"I definitely am a bright, fun, happy scrapper and designer. I like things to look realistic and have clean lines. Minimalism and starkness isn’t my thing, give me gorgeous color and texture any day! My biggest inspiration is every day life. If you look at my products, they’re all about things that happen to everyone, every day. There are kits for swimming at the pool, there are kits to celebrate people’s quirks, roller rink kits, and even kits about life struggles."

We get to welcome Traci Reed , of Traci Reed Designs to the Celebrations Blog! We are so excited to share what Traci has in store for everyone as we gear up for the holiday season and get ready to welcome a new year.

First, lets get to know Traci a little bit better.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

"I’m a 20something graphic designer from Northern California.  I’ve recently completed my degrees in Graphic Illustration as well as Graphic Design and have been working in the scrap-booking business since 2004.  I’ve been married to Patrick for 6 years and together we have two boys, Karsten (6) and Josiah (4).  We are also currently expecting baby Finn in January of 2011."

Tell us about your site.

"We’ve currently redesigning the site at TraciReed.com and starting November first, we have an all new blog format that’s more customer and inspiration oriented and on December first we launched a brand new newsletter!"
