Shutterfly: Picasa Integration

Picasa has always been a favorite free photo editing program of mine. I have used it to quickly adjust my photos for school projects with the kids, for work related photography or just sharing a single photo quickly via e-mail. Picasa is on my desktop and anytime I download photos Picasa automatically pulls the photos in for easy editing. Picasa also provides a web based photo storage solution. This gives you access to your photos from anywhere.

I was excited to learn that Shutterfly's "Simple Path" has introduced Picasa as a new image source as part of their ongoing effort to provide customers with access to their photos wherever they may be stored. Basically through "Simple Path" you have access to images stored in your  Picasa Web Albums. You can read here for more details!

I'm thrilled to see Shutterfly working together with other quality programs to provide the most comprehensive services possible. Way to go Shutterfly!

Digital Scrapbooking : Yin's Software Preference

Yin, from Yin Designs shares some information about digital scrapbooking.

What digital software do you use and what's your favorite tool within the software?

"I have upgraded to Photoshop CS 4 now. My favorite function in there is the Levels tool under Image>adjustments. It allows me to adjust the color and light exposure of all my photos amazingly!"
