I'm Andrea Graves with ScrappersGuide.com. We've got several giveaways coming up for you over the next few days!
Have you ever wanted to create a school album for your child, but felt too overwhelmed to get started? We've got an easy solution for you! The Scrapper's Guide Back2School QuickAlbum is perfect to showcase your child's entire school year. The good news? We will be giving away a page from this album every day for the next three days!
Along with that, I wanted to share some ideas and tips for getting good pictures of your child throughout the school year so you can have some fun pictures to work with as you make your child's school album.
It's really fun to interview your child during the year and ask questions like, “What’s your favorite subject?” and “Who is your best friend?” etc. This can give you many ideas for picture subjects and journaling topics that will truly personalize a scrapbook.
The sample for today's giveaway page has a picture that my son's teacher took of him sitting at his desk during class. This sort of photo is like an unexpected bonus. I was lucky his teacher happened to take it!
If you have the opportunity to visit your child's class during his or her birthday week, or if you volunteer, grab your camera and take a few photos during your visit. No matter how hard I try, it seems I can never take too many pictures of my kids during school! :) You will be glad of any pictures you managed to take when you're ready to work on that album of your child's school year!
