"My primary reason to scrap is to document what goes on in my family, so I would have to say that my photography style is “amateur”. I have learned just enough to be able to get the shots I need and that is all I know! I love cameras, and I’m always on the lookout for the next bigger, better camera with more mega pixels. But, I’m not interested in mixing things up too much. I have 3 Canon Power Shot cameras with progressively larger Mega Pixels, because I don’t want to learn how to use a new camera… That’s terrible, but I don’t have time to lose- My daughter is growing up right before my eyes! Of course, that doesn’t mean that I don’t try to take good pictures… I use Photoshop to fix any color that isn’t just right, and the desaturate tool to make pictures that I can’t fix black and white. So, I guess my point is that I care about the photos I take, but I care more about the stories I’m documenting! "
What digital software do you use?
"I’m an equal opportunity software lover!! I use PSCS3, PSP9, Art Rage, and Animation Shop. Of course, I use Photoshop the most! I love the rulers and guidelines! I also love that I can create and use actions for things I do over and over! My favorite tool has to be the clipping mask! I love being able to clip things to a shape in one easy step!!"
