Doris Castle , graphic artist at ScrapbookGraphics continues to share great info about herself. Enjoy the wonderful inspiration below.
How long have you been scrapbooking?
"About as long as I can remember! Even back in middle school and high school I used to keep albums where I would save my memorabilia of life and journal about it. During college I liked to create logos for local businesses -which is a lot like creating embellishments! After college I became a graphic artist and enjoyed collaging photos together along with titles and descriptions for local photo labs, and then discovered that what I was doing actually had a name.. digital scrapbooking. Once I discovered this, I was hooked and haven’t looked back."
Who or what inspires you most?
"I really find inspiration everywhere.. by looking out a window, or by glancing around in a grocery store line. We are surrounded by art and patterns everywhere, such as wallpaper, furniture, clothes and it just seems to blend into a beautiful background that we just become unmindful to after a while, but taking the time to really look and take it all in, can bring so much inspiration."
