Kate Teague, Two Peas Garden Girl, responded to the Week #9 question of "What creative activities do you or your family do for the holiday?" by saying:
"We make a family gingerbread house each year. We always wait until Grandma is in town and then we head to the store to pick out candies from the bulk section. We also like to make handmade ornaments of some sort each year. I love looking back over our ornaments and remembering the years we made them in. Lastly, I try to make some kind of gift involving photos. I have made tile photo coasters, photo calendars, photo books and photo mugs. I find that the photo gifts are treasured by Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. This year I am making CD calendars and photo mugs and coffee tumblers. I have included a sample of my photo calendars. You can find the link to the digital kit that I used here: "

I have a kit called "Christmas Cheer" out right now that is a fun colourful paper pack. Here are two more papers that co-ordinate with the pack :) Here is a link to the pack as well:

I do a lot of the same things, not the gingerbread house but I think when my grandaughter gets older I will try that one. When my kids were younger I would have them invite some friends and the neighborhood kids over for a cookie decorating party. Now that was WILD and lots of fun! :) I had the cookies ready and lots of fun stuff to decorate with.
Thanks so much for the papers, I LOVE that snowman!!

Hi,
I was wondering where you got the cd cases that open that way? Mine don't go all the way around. I love the idea!
