Welcome Kirsty Wiseman! We are excited to introduce you to the wonderful Kirsty!
Tell us about yourself.
"My name is kirsty and I am married to Mark. We have a lovely little girl called Ellie and together, with our dog Eddy - we are invincible.
I have been scrapbooking 5 years now and coupled with that I make cards for the UK magazine industry. When I'm fed up of paper scrapping, I love to make digital layouts while watching TV with the family."
Well, Christmas is right around the corner and Kirsty has created several goodies for us to scrap our holiday photos. We are sharing her first freebie with you today and have several more to come! The "Joy" card below can easily be printed at Shutterfly! Enjoy and please remember that all freebies are for personal use only.
We hope you find inspiration in the celebrations that are taking place around you!
Well, It is early December and I already received the first card of the holiday season from a dear friend this week. It makes me shutter to think that someone else is already done with cards and I have the task in front of me.
Luckily, I have a great database of names and addresses already on my computer and I of course have Shutterfly for the card creating process. My biggest challenge is always choosing just one card. So, for the third year in a row I will print 3 cards. Some may think I am a little crazy to do that, but honestly it makes the process less stressful for me. (sometimes around the holiday we need to do a few things to reduce stress!)
I thought it would be fun to share my selections for the 2009 holiday season. I am pleased with the way they turned out and feel relieved that they will be stamped and in the mail next week!
We are excited to welcome Rhonna Farrer to the Shutterfly Celebrations Blog. We can't wait to share more about Rhonna and her design work. So, without further ado, lets find out a bit about her.
I'm Rhonna Farrer, a mother of 3 & wife to my best friend. I earned a BFA in Art Education & have been designing in the greeting card/gift wrap/paper product industry for 12 years.
I design under Rhonna DESIGNS for all of my freelance design work, but as far as scrapbooking goes: I've teamed up with Heidi Swapp & Janet Hopkins to bring you House of 3. We have digital design kits, House Adornmnents, Blog Couture & Design House kits. We aim to offer inspiration in home decor, scrapbooking & hybrid arts.
Rhonna has an exciting handful of freebies that she is going to be sharing with us over the next week or so. The downloads are themed around Blessings and being Thankful. (Perfect for all of those Thanksgiving photos we need to document!) Below you can download a greeting card created by Rhonna. You just add your own photo and print it. The card is, of course, perfectly sized for printing at Shutterfly if you choose! Have fun downloading this fun freebie and please remember that all freebies are for personal use only.
It has been a wild and crazy last few months. Wrapping the holiday season up properly never really happens the way I had intended. This year I am proud to say that I used Shutterfly to help me show that last little gesture of thanks to our family and friends. The card below was made within minutes at Shutterfly and is truly something I know our family and friends will hold onto throughout the new year. I had 25 cards printed and will be sending them out this week. It was a personal and affordable thank you!(the card below shows off my 3 little boys with their brand new holiday labradoodle!--a moment our family won't be forgetting soon!)

"I created a product this year to document a year's worth of memories month-by-month. It makes it easy to add photos and text and capture a monthly snapshot of what our family's been up to. I hope to create a page for each month of the year and combine them in a 12x12 Shutterfly photo book for 2007, 2008 and beyond!"
"Still working on your holiday cards and letters? If so, I have a new holiday letter template set that makes putting your family newsletter together quick, easy, and beautiful. The black & white design coordinates perfectly with my free holiday card templates (available through Shutterfly here). I just received my 4x8 cards in the mail today using one of the templates and they turned out beautifully :) Now to address them! "
