Tell us about yourself.

"My name is Veronica Spriggs Owner and Designer at Digiscrap Boutique. I’m know on many scrapbook sites as Vivarant. Born into a family of female artists this journey into scrapbooking came naturally to me. I’ve dabbled in many art mediums from charcoal to acrylics. But my art really came alive when I discovered digital imagery. I’ve always been a sort of techy. I love gadgets and electronics. Digital art was a natural for me."

A Project Update: From Holly McCaig

Holly McCaig,from HollyMcCaigDesigns shares more insight about herself below. Enjoy!

What cool / endearing project are you working on right now?

"Well, I'm on break from anything work-related! We wrapped up our lines for Pink Paislee a month ago and now I can breathe! But, for now, my focus has been on creating Christmas gifts for my family. It's all about making them this year. I have tons of idea, but where is the time? We're taking our family holiday photo too and it's always fun to get creative with those every year!"

Where do you hang out on-line?

"I don't really hang out at any forums or anything. I pretty much prefer Facebook and Twitter. I have a private area that I hang out with my closest friends. I just don't find I have the time anymore to do much more than that. Facebook has allowed me to connect with the people I want without all the fluff or potential drama. And, I've gotten to know people better through it. Twitter has been amazing for me in both personal and business. I've met lots of local people to me and it's gotten me jobs, and created new friends."

How long have you been scrapbooking?

"Wow - Forever! Since high school! But, I got into scrapbooking the archival way when I was working with Close to My Heart as a consultant back in the 90's. "

Tell us about your site and tell us about anything special going on , Sales coming up? Chats? Classes?

"My number one goal is photography and you can find that I carry my designs over to www.pinkinkstudios.com for professional photographers. Scrapbook designing and scrapbooking are fun hobbies for me. On my site, you'll find portals to go to various aspects of what I do, including my paper products designed through Pink Paislee. I don't really run a huge scrapbooking site for myself, so it's just random postings, new listings when I have time, and of course a gallery that my creative team uses to share their inspiration using my products. I do have a mailing list through Google Groups here and a group on Facebook where I reach my audience. Feel free to join!"

Getting to Know: Holly McCaig

Enjoy getting to know a bit more about Holly McCaig,from HollyMcCaigDesigns.

Holly has a diverse background in the design industry, having worked in marketing, screen-printing and presentation development. She also worked as a supervisor and instructor at Archiver’s, a large chain scrapbooking store.

She is a skilled digital designer and has run several web sites, including The Digi Chick, Plain Digital Wrapper and My Digital Muse. Holly’s designs have been featured in many publications, including Memory Makers and Simple Scrapbooks. She was even a guest designer for the popular book, Digital Designs in Scrapbooking by Renee Pearson.

Holly also served on the inaugural board for Digital Scrapbooking, a Simple Scrapbooks magazine.

While digital scrapbooking is her passion, you can also find Holly’s designs in the traditional scrapbooking world. She was a designer for Bo Bunny Press and is currently the primary product line designer for Pink Paislee, LLC.
