Carol Abram ,owner of Scraphead responded to the week #8 question of "Do you celebrate your animal during the holiday with any special project?" by saying:
"Our dog Jesse has been in almost every holiday card we have ever sent out. In the sample below, from 2003, I spent alot of time in Photoshop creating the exact image I had in mind. I found two of the best head shots of my girls from that year, added cowl neck sweaters, and with Sarah I dummied in a mitten too. I then shot one photo of our house and another of a snow bank in our backyard. Then I made a composite of all the elements and and added the hardest part of all... Jesse. She tends to look away from the camera at the exact moment I have the pose I want. After about 20 shots, I snapped this one which I then silhouetted and plopped on top of the snow bank. I printed the card on heavy stock then glued on the bow with tag to add dimension. It was so much work, but one of my very favorites."
